This page guides you through setting up your entire BettaMax store from scratch, from creating an account to getting ready to receive your first order. Complete the four stages below in order; each step has detailed instructions.

Note: Mark each step as completed to track your progress. Steps labeled ” Required” must be completed before the store can accept orders.

 

 

Phase 1: Account Setup #

Complete this step before doing anything else. Only verified accounts have full access to the platform’s features. This takes approximately 10 minutes.

Tip: Download the app immediately after creating your account to enable push notifications. You’ll receive real-time alerts for new orders without needing to open your computer.

 

Phase 2: Building the store #

This phase helps you create a professional-looking store with a complete policy page and your own domain name. Customers need to see a trustworthy-looking store before deciding to buy. This takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Warning: Do not skip the Return Policy and Shipping Policy pages. PayPal requires stores to have both pages complete before approving a merchant account.

 

Phase 3: Adding products #

Your store needs to have at least one active product before connecting the payment gateway. BettaMax offers two ways to add products; choose the one that best suits your inventory. The process takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

Tip: If a supplier isn’t available, use Product Request to ask BettaMax to find a suitable source. The team will respond within 24 hours.

 

Phase 4: Payment Connection #

This is the final step before the store officially receives money from customers. You need to connect at least one payment gateway and one receiving account. This takes about 20-30 minutes.

Note: PayPal ACDC requires 1-3 business days to approve merchant accounts. Apply early to avoid delays in your store’s opening date.

Once you’ve completed the four stages above, your store is ready to receive orders. The steps below will help you operate and grow more effectively.
