Connect PayPal ACDC

This guide will help you connect PayPal ACDC to your BettaMax store to start receiving payments from international customers. Once connected, your store will receive Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal wallets without requiring customers to create a PayPal account. The process takes approximately 10 minutes.

Before we begin:

  • BettaMax store created (see How to create your first dropshipping store )
  • I have a PayPal Business account (or will create one during the connection process).
  • Identity verification (KYC) has been completed on PayPal.

Step 1: Access the payment settings. #

Log in to the BettaMax admin page, then navigate to the payment section in the sidebar.

  1. Visit admin.bettamax.com and log in to your account.
  2. On the left sidebar, click Settings > Payment .

Step 2: Select PayPal ACDC #

The Payment page lists all payment gateways supported by BettaMax. Find PayPal ACDC in the list and start connecting.

  1. In the Payment Methods list , find the PayPal ACDC card .
  2. Click Connect on the PayPal ACDC card.

Step 3: Log in and authorize your PayPal account. #

After clicking Connect , BettaMax will redirect you to the PayPal page to log in and grant access.

Warning: Use only PayPal Business accounts . PayPal Personal accounts do not support ACDC and cannot be connected.
  1. On the PayPal page, log in to your PayPal Business account .
  2. If you don’t already have a PayPal Business account, click Sign Up and create a Business account before continuing.
  3. Read the list of access permissions requested by BettaMax, then press Grant Permission (or Allow ) to grant permission.
Note: After clicking Grant Permission , PayPal will automatically redirect you to BettaMax. This process takes a few seconds; do not close the tab while waiting.

Step 4: Confirm successful connection #

After authorization, BettaMax updates the connection status. Check the status and select the appropriate mode before starting to receive actual orders.

  1. Check your PayPal ACDC card in the Payment page . The status should show Connected or Active .
  2. The connection is in Test Mode by default . Switch to Live Mode after verifying the payment flow and being ready to receive real orders.
Note: If the status remains unchanged after authorization, try refreshing the page. If it still doesn’t connect, repeat from Step 2.

Activate Pay T+0 #

Connecting PayPal ACDC does not automatically enable Pay T+0. It needs to be activated separately to avoid PayPal holding funds for the default period of 7 to 21 days.

Note: Pay T+0 is not automatically enabled after connecting PayPal. You need to contact the BettaMax team to activate this feature separately.
  1. After successfully connecting your PayPal ACDC, contact the BettaMax team via the support page to request activation of Pay T+0 .

Hint: After connecting your PayPal ACDC account, the next step is to connect your PingPong account to withdraw funds to your Vietnamese bank account. See the instructions at How to create and connect a PingPong account .
