Connect to PingPong

This guide will help you create a PingPong account and connect it to BettaMax to receive money from international payment gateways to your Vietnamese bank account. PingPong is a necessary intermediate step after you have connected PayPal ACDC. The process takes approximately 15-20 minutes, not including KYC verification time.

Before we begin:

  • PayPal ACDC payment gateway has been connected to BettaMax (see How to connect PayPal ACDC payment gateway ).
  • You need a valid ID card or passport to verify your KYC.
  • Have a Vietnamese bank account (VietcomBank, Techcombank, MB, or any other bank).

What is PingPong and why does BettaMax use PingPong? #

PingPong is a cross-border payment platform that allows you to receive money from international payment gateways and withdraw it to your Vietnamese bank account. BettaMax integrates PingPong because it is the most suitable solution for Vietnamese dropshippers selling goods in the US, UK, and CA markets.

  • Withdrawal fees are capped at 1%, lower than the usual 2-4%.
  • There are no registration fees or monthly maintenance fees.

Step 1: Create a PingPong account #

Follow the steps below to create a new PingPong account. If you already have an account, skip this section and proceed to Step 2.

  1. Visit vn.pingpongx.com/vn/index , then click Register .
  2. Select Vietnam as your registration location. In the “Purpose of Use” section, select “Accept Payment” if you are using PingPong to receive money from PayPal ACDC.
  3. Enter your email address , phone number , and password . Check the box to agree to the PingPong Services Agreements , then click Register .
  4. Open the email inbox you just registered with. Find the activation email from PingPong and click the verification link inside.
  5. Log back into your PingPong account. Tap ” Set up your account” on the welcome screen.
  6. Fill in your country of residence and select your account type: Individual or Business .
  7. Upload a photo of your valid Citizen Identification Card or Passport . Fill in all required personal information to complete KYC verification.
  8. Link your bank account: enter your account number , bank name , and SWIFT code . Click Submit to send your request for approval.
Tip: The SWIFT CODE for Vietnamese banks is displayed directly in the instructions on the PingPong bank linking screen. You can also look it up directly on the bank’s official website.
Note: KYC verification typically takes 1-3 business days. Funds will still be received even if your account is not yet approved, but you cannot withdraw them to your bank account until KYC is finalized.

Step 2: Connect the PingPong to the BettaMax #

After creating your PingPong account, follow these steps to connect to the BettaMax dashboard. You don’t need to wait for KYC approval to complete before connecting.

  1. Log in to admin.bettamax.com .
  2. Go to Settings > Payment .
  3. Find PingPong in the list of payment gateways, then click Connect .
  4. Enter the information for your created PingPong account. Depending on the system’s requirements, enter the Email or API Key from your PingPong account.
  5. Press confirm. The connection status will change to Connected when complete.
Note: You need to complete at least the PingPong account creation step before connecting to BettaMax. You don’t need to wait for KYC approval to complete this step.

Step 3: Withdraw money to a Vietnamese bank account. #

After successfully connecting to PingPong and having your KYC approved, you can withdraw funds from the payment gateway to your Vietnamese bank account following these steps.

Funds from PayPal ACDC will be transferred to your PingPong wallet. From PingPong, you can create a withdrawal request (Request Payout) to your linked Vietnamese bank account. The usual processing time is 1-3 business days.
