However, creating a collection isn’t just about grouping products together. To make it truly effective, you need a clear strategy around product categories, display methods, and customer engagement. So, how do you set up an optimized collection on BettaMax? Let’s dive into the details below.
How to Create a Collection
Overview of the Collection List Screen
To access the Collection list, go to the “Product” menu → click “Collection” → the system displays your list of collections.
The Collection list screen shows: images, collection names, activity status, creation dates, and available actions for each collection.
Activity Status includes “Active” and “Inactive”. Toggling this determines whether the collection appears on your store.
How to Add a New Collection
Use the “Create Collection” function to build a new collection.
Step 1: On the Collection list screen, click the “Create Collection” button.
Step 2: The system opens the “Create New Collection” screen, requiring you to fill in mandatory fields: Collection Image, Information, Collection, and SEO.
Step 3: Add products to your collection. BettaMax offers two search options: Basic search and Advanced search.
- Option 1: Basic Search
In the search bar, type a value. The system auto-searches and lists matching products.
Click the (+) icon to add a product to the collection.
- Option 2: Advanced Search
Click “Advance Search” to open a small window. Choose between:
- All Conditions: Filters combining selected criteria.
- Any Conditions: Filters based on any selected criterion.
After picking a method, select and enter values in the text box.
Click “Preview Product List” to see matching products. Then:
- Click “Add to Collection” to include selected products.
- Click “Back” to return to the search criteria and revise search values.
- Click the (X) icon to cancel.
Successfully added products appear on the Create Collection screen.
To remove a product, click the (-) icon.
To clear all products, click “Delete All”.
Step 4: After entering all details, click “Create Collection” in the top-right corner. The system creates the collection based on your input, showing a “Create collection successfully” message before returning to the Collection list.

How to Edit a Collection
This feature lets you modify a collection’s basic information, product list, and SEO settings.
Step 1: On the Collection list screen, click the 🖊️ (pencil) icon to edit a collection.
Step 2: The “Edit Collection” dialog opens. Click into fields to update the information you want to change.
Step 3: After making changes, click “Save Changes” in the top-right corner. The system saves the updates, displays an “Update successfully” message, and returns to the Collection list.
How to Search for a Collection
There are two search options:
- Type the collection name into the search bar.
- Use the “All Status” filter to sort by Active or Inactive status.

This feature controls whether a collection appears in your online store.
Step 1: On the Collection list screen, select a collection by checking its box.
Step 2: Selected collections appear at the bottom of the list screen.
