Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Any breach of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Services. As a general principle, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with applicable laws, the rules of any platforms or partners you engage with, and these Terms of Service.

 

You must not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations in the jurisdictions in which you operate. By selecting markets and offering products through the Services, you represent that you understand and comply with all applicable legal requirements. Certain activities are strictly prohibited, including, without limitation, uploading or processing Protected Health Information subject to HIPAA or similar regulations, ensitive personal data, including health-related information, subject to applicable data protection and privacy laws.

 

You must not engage in conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or otherwise violates applicable laws or these Terms of Service. This includes, without limitation, promoting or threatening violence against any individual or group, or offering products or services that facilitate intentional self-harm.

You are required to comply with these Terms of Service at all times when using the Services.

Merchant Responsibilities

All transactions are conducted directly between you and your customers through your Store. BettaMax does not act as a party to such transactions and is not responsible for the sale, delivery, or fulfillment of goods or services. You are solely responsible for order processing, delivery, customer support, refunds, returns, complaints, disputes, and all related obligations. BettaMax reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any Store, account, or product from the platform at any time.

Monitoring and Enforcement

BettaMax may, but is not obligated to, monitor content submitted to the Services to ensure compliance with this Policy and applicable laws. BettaMax reserves the right to remove, restrict, or disable access to any content that: violates this Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable laws; poses legal, financial, or reputational risks; is harmful, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable, “as reasonably determined by BettaMax; is misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent; or infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to: upload or distribute unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content; engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices; infringe intellectual property rights; distribute spam, unsolicited communications, or malicious software.

Data Retention and Disclosure

BettaMax may retain and disclose content where required to comply with legal obligations or where reasonably necessary to protect its rights, users, or the public.

Violations
Violations of this Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, and BettaMax reserves the right to take further legal action where appropriate.

Prohibited Products

You must not use the Services to offer or sell prohibited products, including but not limited to: age-restricted goods (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, gambling-related items), animals, vehicles, controlled substances, hazardous materials, human body parts, adult content, payment instruments, medical devices, surveillance equipment, tickets, or weapons and related accessories.
